#32 First on the list is the trip my husband and I took last week to Jamaica for our wedding anniversary. (Where I did work on revisions, but only in my notebook and on my printed-out manuscript because I’d promised not to bring my laptop.)
#33 Time spent on a beach working on the final revisions of Juliet’s Rogue while my husband played beach volleyball.
#35 More queries/requests sent out in anticipation of meeting editors and agents at the RWA conference.
#36 Finished hemming my gown for the Golden Heart ceremony. It took more time than I thought it would, but I saved $45 so it was worth it.
#38 Almost finished packing for the conference.
#39 Received my new business cards.
#40 Finished my pitch for Juliet’s Rogue as well as researched the agent and editor I’m pitching to. Now I just have to practice it.
#41 Finished my speech. I felt silly writing it, but I’d rather tuck it back in my purse than be caught without it in front of 2000 writers.
Now I’d love to know what you’re grateful for.
