Writing is a lonely activity and sometimes the only daily interactions I have are with my blind dog and a neurotic betta fish. But one thing that helps the loneliness is music. I spend a lot of time building playlists for each of my manuscripts, especially since my books are really long and take me a year each to write and edit.
