So for the fourth week in Iron Rack’s Movie Night dinner, I’ve given up getting the men of the Deadly Forces series back into the dining room.
The men ate their salad inside but now refuse to leave the music and the beer on the patio. And since I have revisions on book 3 due this week, I’m done arguing with them. At least it’s a beautiful night, and Calum’s butler Ivers has set up a table on patio for the men to eat the main course: Jambalaya.
I hope they like it because I’m done feeding them! If they want dessert, they can talk to their XO Nate.
Nate ~ “Thank goodness for Ivers! He set up a table even though we would’ve been fine with paper plates. It’s what we use in our seedy apartment over the gym and no one’s complained yet. (Except for Vane, but he complains about everything!)
Ty has taken over DJ duties again and is still playing Muse. Although this song isn’t as ear-blasting as the others. The jambalaya smells delicious and I can’t wait to dig in. There’s even corn bread fresh from the oven. It’s been a wonderful evening so far, just sitting back and relaxing until our enemies strike again. Because I know, for a fact, that they will and people I care about will get hurt. But I’m not allowing myself to think about that now. All I want to do is have a few drinks, eat a fabulous meal, and laugh with my friends. Because that’s what life is all about!”
