Coffee Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee
  • Marshmallows for garnish
  • chocolate syrup drizzle for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large measuring cup, whisk together the milk, cocoa powder, and semi-sweet chocolate. Once it's well mixed, pour it into a large saucepan.

  2. Over medium heat, whisk the mixture until the chocolate melts - do not boil! Once the chocolate is melted, whisk in the coffee. Pour into four mugs and garnish with marshmallows and chocolate syrup.
