
Chill a rocks glass and add 1 large ice cup
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the bourbon, honey syrup, and lemon juice. Shake for 15 seconds, until well chilled.
Strain into the chilled glass, over the ice cube. Garnish with the lemon twist.
In a small saucepan, combine the equal amounts of honey and water. Over medium heat, stir the mixture together until the honey dissolves and the syrup looks clear.
Remove the pan from the heat and let the syrup cool completely before using. This can be stored, up to two weeks, in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
