
Place the pork in the crock pot and sprinkle the salt and liquid smoke over the top of the meat. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low setting, turning meat over half way through the cooking time.
Remove the meat from the pot and sheet it in a large bowl. Transfer the cooking liquid to a saucepan and boil the liquid until reduced by about half. This could take 10-20 minutes, depending on how much liquid is left.
Stir the liquid into the bowl with the meat and serve. I like to serve this on small Hawaiian rolls, but it could also be served on top of a salad or by itself.
