This Deadly Force novella delves into the brutal world of Fianna warriors–and the sacrifices two lovers will have to make to save their future. This story stars Bianca and Legare and Sampson (a Fianna warrior) who both appear in Love’s Last Kiss (book 4), and this novella spills over into A Promise at Midnight (book 5) which I’m writing now.

That’s the problem with working on an interconnected series with so many side characters and stories, and writing the larger novels for a traditional publisher and indie publishing the shorter stories: I’ve written this series out of order. I just hope that you’ll be as patient with me as I have to be with the characters in this large and unruly series.
