March Book Fairs and Reading Events Part 2

I hope you all had a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day! It snowed here this week, yet now it’s 65 degrees. So maybe Spring is on its way… or maybe not. Either way, I’m in the mood to read new books so I’ve collected some more reading events and free books to help you survive until Summer. 🙂

The Isn’t It Romantic Book Club Group will be live-streaming on March 26 at 3 pm EST while we interview Jill Shalvis and her newest romance novel Free Falling. It’ll be live-streamed on our YouTube channel and we hope you’ll join us there!

one love cover

It’s the last week for the One Love Jamaica Hurricane Relief Anthology where all the proceeds go to Jamaica’s Hurricane Relief Charity to help the small island country recover from one of the worst storms in modern history. This anthology is filled with charming and romantic stories that include tropes such as instalove, forced proximity, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, unexpected proposals (and maybe a secret baby), unrecognized billionaires, brother’s best friend, and more.

My story in this anthology, Luke’s Last Hot Summer, is a novella in my Kingsmill Courtships series. It’s about Luke Mosby, an adventurer who is terrified of settling down, who falls in love with Dr. Holly Wythe, a woman bound by rules, structure, and her fears of having a day that doesn’t go as planned. When Luke and Holly are forced to travel to a wedding together, they discover that all their hopes, insecurities, and dreams for the future have no chance of survival when pitted against the power of love.

An Angel’s Fall by Harley Grym

Before the Angels rose… one fall changed everything.

Samson Ellis is a loyal Fallen Angel, a devoted father, and a man riding straight into fate. When a routine run turns deadly, his brutal death sends shockwaves through two motorcycle clubs—and leaves his daughter Winter shattered in its wake.

As grief collides with loyalty, the Fallen Angels close ranks, bound by brotherhood, vengeance, and the promises they make to their own. What begins as a single violent act becomes the spark that ignites wars, forges unbreakable bonds, and shapes the futures of men who live by a code few understand.

An Angel’s Fall is a raw, emotional prequel that lays the foundation for Her Avenging Angel and Bishop’s Wrath—a heartbreaking glimpse into loss, loyalty, and the moment everything changed.

Perfect for readers who crave gritty MC romance, found family, and the origins of vengeance that refuses to die.

My rescuers are on a mission to find someone special. Instead they found me. Like them, I’d rather be on my own, but my protectors agree to teach me how to survive in my transformed body—and how to quench my heightened appetites and insatiable passions.

Each one of my vampire protectors is powerful, devastatingly handsome—and uniquely sensational in his own way. While we shelter in a luxurious mansion, my feelings develop for not one, but all three of these men. But they can’t be mine forever. As knights in a secret order, their vows forbid love. And that’s fine. I’d never let a man hold power over my heart. I may need these men—for now—but I can’t rely on the growing connections between us.

When this is over, all I’ll have are my skills to survive as a vampire—and the memories of our scorching, passion-filled nights. That has to be enough…

Beginner’s Luck by Ella Braeme

Sue Ann’s peaceful hike turns into a nightmare when she’s caught in a flash flood. Her gorgeous firefighter rescuer should focus on getting her to safety—but she challenges his authority at every turn and makes him want things he swore he’d never risk again.

Stranded together in his farmhouse, they discover a connection that runs deeper than desire. But their opposite needs could destroy something beautiful before it has a chance to bloom.

Can a small-town hero and a guarded city girl risk their hearts for a love worth fighting for?

A steamy standalone featuring a blue-collar hero, a heroine who gives as good as she gets, and enough sexual tension to power the fire station. And a corgi. This is a very corgi-friendly romance novella.

Content Note: This story features a flash flood event as part of the rescue romance plot.

The Mission by C.S. Smith

Three men. One betrayal. A brotherhood forged in blood and death.

British Special Air Service Captain Lachlan Mackay’s newest deployment to Afghanistan is just like any other until he meets his beautiful Afghan translator. Nadia Haider reminds him of what he’s missing. Home. A family of his own.

US Navy SEAL Lieutenant Nathan Long and his team are riding high on their successes. Not a single man lost this deployment, and he intends to keep it that way. He enjoys flirting with the Brits’ attractive translator just to get a rise out of his new SAS buddy Lachlan Mackay.

Corporal Ryder Montague abandoned his aristocratic life to prove himself in the elite SAS. His job is to escort Nadia as she interacts with the female Afghan villagers. Nadia’s beauty masks a secret Ryder glimpses but can’t define. Or maybe that’s his jaded, broken heart misleading him.

When Nadia tells Lachlan she has information on the whereabouts of Western hostages kidnapped by the Taliban, Lachlan and Nathan convince their commanding officers to green light a joint rescue mission. Determined to save innocents from the evil clutches of terrorists, all three men place their trust in one woman. Will it make them heroes? Or be their undoing.

This novella is a background origin story that introduces the first three heroes of my former military romantic suspense series, Dìleas Security Agency.

Dangerous Seal by Paige Tyler

Her plans didn’t include a Navy SEAL.

Au pair Talia Holland couldn’t deny that the handsome Navy SEAL who saved her employer’s family a few months ago is tempting enough to break all her dating rules, but what could a mousy nanny have in common with a sexy man whose job is as dangerous as a Tom Cruise movie? Besides, she’d grown up with a father who was always away because of his job.

Talia did not want to live that kind of life ever again. But when another au pair goes missing and Talia narrowly escapes an attack, she doesn’t know who else to call for help but the one guy who lives, eats, and breathes danger. Getting close to a SEAL might keep her safe, but how will she protect her heart if she falls for a man who spends more time on foreign soil than in her arms?

But best laid plans…

Petty Officer Lennox Thompson had been hoping for a phone call from the beautiful dark-haired au pair, but not a call from the police station that she’d been attacked.

Unwilling to let Talia go home alone, Lennox offers his guest bedroom for the night. However, once he hears the details, he realizes she’s involved in something more suited to a SEAL Team 5 mission than adventures in babysitting.

Someone is willing to kill to get what they want, and Talia and her young charge are in the crosshairs. It will take help from his Teammates to avoid an international incident, but when Talia and little Maria are kidnapped, Lennox will take on navy protocol, smug CIA, and deadly terrorists to save the little girl who makes him laugh and the woman who makes his heart pound.
