The Girl in the Wedding Dress by Sandra Owens

Brody Merrick is only a few days into his retirement from twenty years in Army Intelligence when the man who saved his life in Kandahar calls, asking a favor. Brody’s intention is to spend a month doing absolutely nothing except maybe hooking up as often as possible until he has to report to his new job with a security company.

But best laid plans can change with one phone call. Brody can’t refuse when the man he owes his life to asks him to go to Asheville and protect a woman who is being stalked by a stranger. He’ll go, figure out who her stalker is, and once she’s safe, he’ll get back to his plan. What he doesn’t expect, much less plan for, is Callie Flavin.

Callie Flavin lives a quiet life. She loves her job as a voice-over artist, she loves her cats, and she fiercely guards her privacy. A tragedy in her teen years taught her that a happily ever after is not going to happen for her. She might wish otherwise, but she accepts that.

When a stalker sets his sights on Callie, a friend sends Brody Merrick to protect her. For years, she’s convinced herself that love isn’t for her, but maybe she’s been wrong all this time.

Her stalker has other ideas, though. Callie belongs to him, and he means to have her.

The Mission by C.S. Smith

Three men. One betrayal. A brotherhood forged in blood and death.

British Special Air Service Captain Lachlan Mackay’s newest deployment to Afghanistan is just like any other until he meets his beautiful Afghan translator. Nadia Haider reminds him of what he’s missing. Home. A family of his own.

US Navy SEAL Lieutenant Nathan Long and his team are riding high on their successes. Not a single man lost this deployment, and he intends to keep it that way. He enjoys flirting with the Brits’ attractive translator just to get a rise out of his new SAS buddy Lachlan Mackay.

Corporal Ryder Montague abandoned his aristocratic life to prove himself in the elite SAS. His job is to escort Nadia as she interacts with the female Afghan villagers. Nadia’s beauty masks a secret Ryder glimpses but can’t define. Or maybe that’s his jaded, broken heart misleading him.

When Nadia tells Lachlan she has information on the whereabouts of Western hostages kidnapped by the Taliban, Lachlan and Nathan convince their commanding officers to green light a joint rescue mission. Determined to save innocents from the evil clutches of terrorists, all three men place their trust in one woman. Will it make them heroes? Or be their undoing.

This novella is a background origin story that introduces the first three heroes of my former military romantic suspense series, Dìleas Security Agency.

Dangerous Seal by Paige Tyler

Her plans didn’t include a Navy SEAL.

Au pair Talia Holland couldn’t deny that the handsome Navy SEAL who saved her employer’s family a few months ago is tempting enough to break all her dating rules, but what could a mousy nanny have in common with a sexy man whose job is as dangerous as a Tom Cruise movie? Besides, she’d grown up with a father who was always away because of his job.

Talia did not want to live that kind of life ever again. But when another au pair goes missing and Talia narrowly escapes an attack, she doesn’t know who else to call for help but the one guy who lives, eats, and breathes danger. Getting close to a SEAL might keep her safe, but how will she protect her heart if she falls for a man who spends more time on foreign soil than in her arms?

But best laid plans…

Petty Officer Lennox Thompson had been hoping for a phone call from the beautiful dark-haired au pair, but not a call from the police station that she’d been attacked.

Unwilling to let Talia go home alone, Lennox offers his guest bedroom for the night. However, once he hears the details, he realizes she’s involved in something more suited to a SEAL Team 5 mission than adventures in babysitting.

Someone is willing to kill to get what they want, and Talia and her young charge are in the crosshairs. It will take help from his Teammates to avoid an international incident, but when Talia and little Maria are kidnapped, Lennox will take on navy protocol, smug CIA, and deadly terrorists to save the little girl who makes him laugh and the woman who makes his heart pound.

He’s determined to prove to Angela that her past won’t stand in the way of their future together.

But when Angela becomes the target of a lethal threat, trust becomes a matter of life and death. As danger close in, Angela must reveal her secrets—and her heart—to Tony, or risk losing everything. Can Tony protect the woman he loves and convince her they’re worth the ultimate gamble?
