Today I’m sharing the cover for Summer Heatwave, a charity anthology that I’m so excited to be participating in. All proceeds from this charity anthology will support FIRE — The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. FIRE is a non-partisan, nonprofit group devoted to protecting free speech and the right to speak your mind—even when it’s unpopular. Founded in 1999 to defend students and professors, it has grown into a broader voice for expression across American life. Through advocacy, education, and legal battles, FIRE stands for a simple idea: that open conversation, even messy or controversial, is worth defending. And that makes my librarian’s heart happy. 🙂
This anthology will come out June 1, 2026, but I’m still waiting for a preorder link. My romance in this anthology is Their Forever Summer, a brand new novella in my Kingsmill Courtships series. More information on that new story coming soon!
