DMCA Policy

This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy applies to sharonwray.com. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the DMCA, we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our services or website if such claims are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent as described below.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that any content on our site infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA. Please include the following information in writing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works on the website are covered by a single notification, you may provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, with enough detail for us to locate it on the website.
  4. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

NOTE: All DMCA notices must include a physical or electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material, and a statement of good faith.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or access to it was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must be sent to our Designated Agent and must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or access disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or if outside the U.S., that you consent to the jurisdiction of any federal court in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
