It’s another gray winter day, but soon I’ll be in New Orleans for Book Lovers Con! (Where I’m hoping to see the sun!)
According to the Book Lovers Con website, “Book Lovers Con is the place to meet your all-time favorite authors, discover new-to-you authors and forge relationships with fellow Book Lovers. From our Jazz Festival Kick-Off Party to our Brunch & Bubbly breakfast, our program provides ample opportunity for readers and authors to connect!”

Readers will enjoy many opportunities to interact with their favorite authors and connect with new authors. Because we want to make sure everyone has a chance to meet, author registration slots will be limited. Jazz Festival Welcome Party
“We’re planning a BIG welcome for Book Lovers! Our kick-off party will emulate New Orleans’ famous annual Jazz Festival. A Second Line Band will gather all of our guests in the lobby and escort them to a jazz fest designed with Book Lovers in mind! Of course, you can’t have a jazz festival without live music! A local jazz band will play tunes guaranteed to get your foot tapping. All that dancing will make you work up an appetite. Book Lovers who are feeling hungry can step outside to enjoy a taste of New Orleans’ food truck scene at our very own food truck area.
Three Truths & a Lie: Romantic Suspense, Horror, Mystery, and Thriller Signing

As a reader, there are tons of events, booksignings, and chances to meet your favorite authors. There are brunches, swamp tours, champagne parties, Faery and Fantasy Dinner, Voodoo Vampire Club and Dinner Dance, and the Book Bash Dance Party just to name a few.
I have no doubt it will be an incredible experience and I’m excited to go to Book Lovers Con not just as an author but also as a reader. Registration is still available and I hope to see you there!
