Mending Hearts for Her Reckless Outlaw

Today I want to share more about my second summer romance anthology, Mending Hearts, an enemies-to-lovers collection that includes another new novella in my Kingsmill Courtships series, Her Reckless Outlaw. I love the enemies-to-lovers trope, and so far I think this is one of my favorite stories in this series.

This is the first book in a 3-book arc for Damian Fawkes, the man who has been one of the primary antagonists in this series. As the illegitimate son of Isaiah Mosby, and the half-brother of the six Mosby brothers that this series is about, Damian has a LOT of emotional baggage. He’s also the president of the local outlaw motorcycle club, The Devil’s Renegades, and has a history of very bad behavior. So this redemption story is going to take three books to finish because his heroine, Tess Rutledge, is not letting him off easy. I hope you enjoy it!

A Contemporary Enemies-to-Lovers Anthology

What happens when enemies are forced a little too close…and the line between hate and desire starts to blur?

Mending Hearts is a Contemporary Enemies-to-Lovers Anthology packed with sharp banter, emotional wounds, steaming hot tension, and that “oh no, I’m in love with a person I can’t stand” moment we all live for.

From grudges to stolen glances, from heartbreak to healing, these stories prove that sometimes the people who challenge us the most are the ones who change us forever.

Authors included: Melanie True, Arianna Barton, Roison Visser, Destiny Storm, Julie Halperson, & Sharon Wray

Her Reckless Outlaw

He shattered her heart… now she’s his only hope.

Tess Rutledge built her life around control. As a speech therapist, she helps others find their voice, but she’s spent years ignoring her own, especially when it comes to the boy who broke her.

Damian Fawkes was once everything to her. Then he became the man everyone in Kingsmill feared. After a brutal accident leaves him struggling to speak, Tess is assigned to help him recover. It should be simple—clinical, professional, temporary. Except nothing about Damian has ever been simple.

As old wounds resurface and dangerous secrets begin to close in, Tess is pulled into a world she thought she’d escaped. A world of loyalty, betrayal, and a motorcycle club that still claims Damian as one of their own.

When a violent threat crashes into a family wedding, lines blur between past and present, truth and deception. And Tess is forced to question everything she thought she knew about the man standing in front of her. Because Damian isn’t just fighting for his voice. He’s fighting for redemption.

And trusting him again might cost her everything.
