It’s the Friday night before Halloween, that means it’s time for my annual Hocus Pocus movie (the original!) watch party!
Now that the April rains have begun, it’s time to snuggle into a comfy chair with a hot cup of tea and read for hours and hours (in a perfect world, that is!). So for those who have the time, here is a list of some of my favorite books to read on rainy days.

We are almost halfway through the Rough Draft Spring Challenge. So that means it’s time for to remember to take care of our body, mind, and eyes so we can finish our drafts strong with great stories and even better health.
Another year has gone by, and it’s once again time for my End of the Year Ritual. This is a day that gives me time to reflect on the past, offer gratitude for the present, and dream about the future. I can’t imagine a better way to end one year and begin a new one.
Tonight is the annual tradition of watching Hocus Pocus with family and friends, and this time I’m starting dinner off with a pureed cauliflower soup I hope everyone will love.
